Some of you may remember I posted this a couple years back. I need much more practice in portraiture. The neck was all wrong in this - too long and skinny and no shadows. I've reworked her neck/face and am much happier with these results.

I think it's beautiful Janice!
I was drawn to the hand for some reason. I really must click back and take another look. :)

Beautiful, I love the tones and light, an exquisite B / W. Very interesting and intriguing lady with this beautiful dress. Greetings.

She is very beautiful--very 1930ish I think----Not that I was there ever. LOL

Stunning! MB

BTW: How are the cows in the freezing weather?

The shading is appealing and the black and white appearance is all that is necessary for the effect.

Nicely done

Tanaka-san - thank you!

You are always so kind chere amie.

Sonia - many thanks :)

Thank you for the kind words Leovi - she is an enchanting lady is she not... :)

Cherie - because I'm not too good with faces i tried to imply concentration with her body positioning...thanks so much.

My thanks always Mary Beth - I feel so sorry for the cows - a couple calves lost because of the cold...

Thanks muchly Goatman - I always appreciate feedback on artwork to know where to improve...

I like the silhouette, the attitude of the body and the setting...but....I'm not so sure about the face. This woman looks angry....at least to me, sorry!

Meditation is a serious sort of thing isn't it so I can see why she looks angry to you Gabriela - thanks always for your visits my friend.

Tanna - thanks so much for your words...and your visits too.
